David Eaton has been practicing law in Florida since graduating from Stetson University College of Law in 1987. While in law school, David was selected to represent the school in the National Trial Competition as well as the National Moot Court Competition. After law school, David practiced in West Palm Beach, Florida for ten years, specializing in complex medical malpractice cases and catastrophic injury cases. In 1990, David took on the first case ever wherein a dentist transmitted HIV/AIDS to his patient, Kimberly Bergalis. The case involved the highest level of scientific investigation from experts spanning the globe. The case also produced a media frenzy requiring coordination of events on every major news and talk show in the United States, Europe and Japan. After successfully concluding the Bergalis case, as well as cases for other infected patients, David began representing victims of toxic chemical exposures as well as medical malpractice. In 1995, David earned the honor of being Board Certified in Civil Trial Law by the Florida Bar. Then his work in the area of toxic exposure brought David to Tampa in 1996 to represent multiple victims of a severe toxic incident at the United States Post Office. Since that time, David has devoted himself to representing clients that have had their lives severely impacted by the wrongful death of a loved one, medical malpractice, truck crashes, car accidents, motorcycle accidents, sexual assault, negligent security, toxic chemical exposures and other incidents causing personal injury or harm.
