Laura Voght graduated from the University of Central Florida, earning a bachelor’s degree in Psychology in 1997. She then earned her Juris Doctor from Mercer University School of Law. During her time in law school, she was a member of the Moot Court Board and also earned a certificate in Comparative Law from Oxford University.
Ms. Voght has extensive experience handling cases involving complex medical issues. Her practice areas include medical malpractice cases, wrongful death actions, products liability cases involving healthcare products and catastrophic personal injury cases. She is licensed to practice in Georgia, Florida and Alabama and also handles cases nationwide.
Ms. Voght is a member of the American Association for Justice, serving as Co-Chair of the AAJ Stroke Litigation Group. She is also a member of the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association, the Pound Civil Justice Institute, the American Bar Association, the Atlanta Bar Association, the National Trial Lawyers, the Mass Tort Trial Lawyers Association, the Savannah Bar Association, the Dunwoody Bar Association and the Georgia Association for Women Lawyers.
Ms. Voght is a frequent speaker on topics pertinent to complex medical litigation. She has consistently been named a Georgia Super Lawyer and a Top 100 Trial Lawyer by the National Trial Lawyers.
