Judy founded the Law Offices of Judy Greenwood, P.C. in 1993 and has litigated catastrophic personal injury cases, with an emphasis on men, women, and children’s injuries, since she began her practice. Most of her cases are malpractice cases involving the mistakes of doctors, nurses, hospitals, nursing homes, health care providers and facilities, as well as the safety failures of those systems in causing serious harm, but she has had great success for her clients in all manner of personal injury cases. Judy graduated from Temple University in 1971 with a Bachelor of Science degree and from Rutgers University with a Juris Doctor degree in 1975. After graduating from law school she worked as a public interest lawyer litigating on behalf of indigent clients in both state and federal court. She then joined the firm of Bernstein, Bernstein, & Harrison, where she became a partner and successfully litigated cases involving medical negligence, including cancer mis-diagnosis, ob-gyn malpractice, and surgical error, along with general personal injury cases.

Since 1993, when Judy Greenwood founded her own firm, she has had great success in getting justice for her seriously injured clients in medical malpractice cases of all kinds, including birth injuries, cancer mis-diagnosis, surgical mistakes, medication errors and nursing home neglect. She has been acknowledged as a “7 Figure (multi million dollar) Litigator” for her successful litigation in a birth injury medical negligence lawsuit, and has had several multi million dollar results for her clients. She has provided caring and compassionate representation to her clients while aggressively pursuing their legal cases, fighting for justice, and always communicating with her clients throughout the process.
She is a member of the American Association of Justice, the Pennsylvania Association of Justice, and the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association where she has served on the Board of Directors. She is a member of the Pennsylvania and Philadelphia Bar Associations. She has been a course planner and lecturer for programs related to medical malpractice and trial techniques, and volunteers as a Judge Pro Tem for the Philadelphia Courts where she mediates and settles professional malpractice and other personal injury cases.
Judy has lived and worked in Philadelphia and Montgomery Counties in Pennsylvania, for over 40 years where she has raised her family and has been engaged in and part of the local community. She serves as a local committeeperson and pollwatcher to help ensure fair access to the vote.
