Prior to becoming an attorney, Dr. Rawlings was actively involved in medical malpractice litigation as a consultant, case reviewer, and expert witness for fourteen years. He served as a reviewer for more than 300 cases nationwide, and provided both deposition and trial testimony in more than twenty-five cases. In addition to providing medical expertise , he acted as a consultant to a number of attorneys and law firms in matters concerning trial preparation. The combination of his many years of experience in the medical field, extensive involvement in malpractice litigation as a consultant and expert witness, and his official entry into the legal profession, places Dr. Rawlings in a position to offer a wide range of services to his clients.

In addition, as a physician and surgeon Dr. Rawlings has extensive knowledge with regard to other medical mishaps.
