Carmine graduated Summa Cum Laude from Albion College with a degree in Political Science and Concentration in Public Service. While at Albion College, he served as the President of the Student Council and played on the soccer team. He earned his law degree from Wayne State University Law School, where he sat on the Law School Student Board of Governors. He was awarded best brief writer, Moot Court, in the Arthur Neef Competition, and a semi-finalist for best brief writer, Moot Court, in the Chase National Environmental Law Competition. While living in Australia for a brief period, Carmine obtained his Graduate Certificate in Legal Practice from the University of South Australia School of Law.
Before joining the Beam Legal Team, Carmine practiced medical malpractice defense and specialized in birth trauma litigation. His background gives him a unique perspective, which allows him to anticipate defenses and thoroughly prepare cases for our clients. Carmine has been recognized by his peers, who selected him as a Leading Lawyer. He has also been selected as a Lawyer of Distinction. Carmine is licensed to practice in Michigan State Court, Federal Court, Wisconsin State Court, and Illinois State Court.
Born and raised in Michigan, Carmine is an active member of the Italian American Club of Livonia and Our Lady of Good Counsel Parish. He has been a member of the Italian American Bar Association of Michigan. Carmine lives with his wife Rita, an English teacher at Detroit Catholic Central High School, and their four sons Dante, MarcAnthony, Sebastiano, and Cristiano. When not fighting for families of cerebral palsy children, Carmine enjoys his family time, including watching his sons play travel soccer, traveling, watching his favorite local sports teams and international soccer teams, and staying current with the news and politics.
